This box is suitable for our Elegant Slipper without the heel.

Cut two pieces of cardstock 14cms (5½”) x 26cms (10¼”) - (these can be different colours as shown in our sample)

Score all four edges of both pieces using groove 1 on M&F Scoreboard.
Decorate the piece that is to form the lid.
Cut and construct corners following the board’s instructions.

Cut strips of complimentary cardstock and decorated edges using fancy scissors or punch edges with decorative punch. Trim strips to 3½cms (1½”) wide and adhere to inside edges of box tray. Not only does this add the extra height required but also adds a pretty finish and reinforces the sides.

Dizzy Maison
This quirky card shape (you know I love ‘quirky’) was inspired by the fabby challenge blog...
"Dans ma maison il y a…" so credit to you – and thank you for the inspiration.

This shape is quick and easy to make using the M&F scoreboard:
Fold a piece of A4 cardstock in half
Cut down to square shape by placing short edge to Base Bar, mark groove 6 and cut off excess.

For the shape:
Place Fold to Base Bar and mark groove 4 on top opening edge.
Rotate card to place Fold to top of board as shown and mark groove 4 on Fold edge and opening edge.

Line up marks on trimmer and cut off the excess.

Decorate using Dizzy Mare’s Happy Returns Flower Pot and small Silhouette Flower stamps.
The Flower Pot image was stamped directly onto the card. The flowers were stamped again onto cerise cardstock and cut out then adhered to original image.

A narrow strip of cerise cardstock was embossed using Cuttlebug folder and adhered near to bottom edge.
The small Silhouette flowers were stamped then punched out with small circle punch and adhered to black strip using foam pads. Gems were added to flower centres.
Finally dots and dashes were drawn around edges of card using black glitter Sakura pen.
I've been playing with our lovely Dizzy Daisy stamps and
combined them with an image from Cardcraft Plus Art Deco CD
Cut down a piece of A4 cardstock to create a square base card.
Emboss the right-hand side with Swiss Dots.
Note where the ribbon is to lie then score 4 lines (using M&F board grooves) down the left-hand side - two each side of the ribbon.
Wrap the brown ribbon around card and secure with a knot.
Tie a piece of champagne ribbon around brown knot and tie.
Top with gemstone - I used blue to match Ginger's eyes.
Print and layer ribbon onto black and attach near bottom edge of card.
Print and assemble image and attach.

Cut insert to fit.
Punch side edges.
Stamp sentiment and Dizzy Daisies.

Use off-cut to create gift-tag.
Fold in half. Round off opening edge.
Stamp Dizzy Daisies in Sepia, Black and Gold.
Punch hole and thread with ribbons and decorate with gems.

A pretty little album that can be as simple or lavish
as you want to make it.

- Cut pieces of cardstock for the size covers you require.
- The front cover of our sample has all four edges soft embossed using MY MatMate then was smudged with pink chalks.
- A heart shaped aperture was cut and fancy paper folding carried out with pretty foil papers.
(Free paperfolding pattern - click on image below to download).
Left side edge was scored using groove 1 of M&F board to form 'folded spine' and two holes punched to take the ribbons.
- A piece of cardstock was adhered to the back to hide the paperfolding.

- Cut as many pages for the album as you require.
- Our first page was stamped using a Dizzy Daisy stamp and Linn Yates' Bridal Gown sentiment.

- The next page was stamped with Linn's Raise a Toast sentiment, Dizzy Mare's Love stamp and Clarity's feather.
- Pages were lined up with covers and holes punched at left side edge.
- Pretty ribbons threaded through and tied to complete the project.
This album has so many potential uses - just follow your imagination...
Coppernob and the Cuttlebug!
This snowy greetings card combines Cuttlebug folders with
Coppernob's IMP Scoring board and Let it Snow Tree stamp

- Score and fold A4 cardstock in half.
- Emboss top two thirds of card front using faux-stitching lines from our IMP scoringboard.

- Adhere to card using narrow double-sided tape along edge that will be hidden by picture.
- Apply narrow peel off along top edge of acetate.

(faux-stitching detail using IMP board)

- Cut piece of mirri board for matting and layering allowing for a border all around. Emboss part of the mirri with the Snowflake folder. Round off corners.
- Adhere jigsaw to mirri and attach to card as shown using foam pads.

- Cut insert paper and punch edges with border punch.
- Stamp up Dizzy Mare 'Let it Snow Tree' and fix inside card.
GIRLY BIRTHDAY WISHES
I saw this lovely card shape in the Stampin Up! Catalogue
and was immediately inspired
– so whoever's idea it was… thank you so much
for sharing (and I did buy some stamps from the catalogue!)
I wondered if this great shape would suit our new
Dizzy Mare Flower Pot stamp… and I rather think it did.

Score and Half-fold a sheet of A4 cardstock, then cut it down to make a
card 17cms deep.
Make a mark on front top edge 5½cms from side opening edge.
Make a 7cms vertical cut down from mark.
Fold back and flatten ‘reveals’ – if your cardstock is thick, score the folds before turning back.
Decorate front of card as required.

(Green scalloped edge embossed using Coppernob's MY MatMate)
Cut a tag 14cms x 9cms and decorate.
Punch a hole in the top and add ribbons.
Adhere tag inside card so it is pleasing from the front when the card is closed. Tag exceeds top edge by 3½ - 4cms.

Fancy Fold Hearts
This little design uses the free downloadable pattern from our competition and the double heart design from Keepsake's Celebration board.
To resize the heart pattern - go to Print Preview and select 150%, then Print.
You could then pop it in the scanner and use the distort tool to adjust it to fit the aperture exactly - but I just taped it centrally within the aperture and worked the top sections then moved the pattern up a little so there were 6 sections showing to work vertically. Work the full heart first. As the margin around the edge is narrow in places it's useful to use a glue stick around the edge to hold your papers. A piece of spare cardstock was adhered to the back of the worked piece to neaten.

Diamond - Topped Card
We have had lots of requests for the instructions for this fun shaped card since it first appeared in our gallery some months ago.
How to achieve this clever design using our M&F scoreboard was devised by our great friend and clever card-maker,
Linn Yates of West Midlands.

Step-by-step...
Score and fold a piece of A4 cardstock in half lengthwise, ensure long edges meet, as a ‘lead-in’ edge is not required on this design.
Open card flat and place a short edge to the Base Bar of M&F scoreboard. Score groove 5. Fold and flatten crease.
Place the fold edge against the Base Bar.
Open up card, hold firmly in place and score groove 1 on inside of card.
(If you are right-handed you may find it easier to rotate the M&F to have Base Bar on your Left to do this step).
Also pencil mark groove 3 on side edges of card as shown.

Score from the pencil marks to centre of scored line 1 as indicated.
Carefully Mountain-fold both of these diagonal scored lines. (Easier done by turning the card over and pressing your finger against the scored line as you fold it up.)
Open up card and begin folding into the card shape - have inside of card facing up - Mountain-fold scored line 1 and Valley-fold scored line 5.
Keep these two folds in place and fold the card in half along original half-fold crease.
Finally, hold the top open-edge corners firmly and push down to fold the diagonals downwards and create the diamond-top effect.

Ok – now we’ve given you the instructions – send us piccies of your 'makes' to include in our gallery!
